You can think of AIS/Permitium/Scribbles as a Venn Diagram. They are unique on their own, but share common qualities and resources. AIS focuses predominately in scanning, conversion services, and document management. Scribbles seeks to support school districts engage with their families by offering secure application software for enrollment, choice, and student records. Permitium works with government agencies to help their citizens have better access to resources such as permits and records. The 3 companies overlap in multiple ways. First, many of the documents and records received from Scribbles and Permitium need to be digitized; AIS to the rescue. Second, the applications used for Permitium and Scribbles are similar, so this helps the teams utilize similar resources and tools across both companies. Overall, the companies work in together and support each other when needed. This is best summed up by Helen Keller “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”

AACRAO

AACRAO is the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers. They are a platform for registrars and admissions officers to communicate with one another and learn about best practices for their job responsibilities. We partner with AACRAO because they provide us with contacts for different higher education institutions around the country and we provide them with the software solutions to make their jobs more efficient and streamlined. AACRAO also sets the guidelines for their streamlined content, so we follow their guidelines when we create student records. 

AWS

AWS provides Scribbles Software with valuable business, technical, and marketing support. AWS also supports Scribbles Software with sales opportunities by sharing their connections with school districts. AWS gets the awareness of our customers that use their platform through our solutions.

Clever

Districts that have Clever can provide their students, faculty, and parents/guardians with technology that allows them to access information and communicate with one another. Like Clever, we believe that equitable access to digital resources should be the status quo in K-12 education. This commonality is the reason that we have partnered up. Our partnership allows students to have all of their information seamlessly integrated into secure processes that support them all the way from enrollment to post-graduation.

Blockchain is a system of recording information in a way that makes it difficult or impossible to change, hack, or cheat the system. Scribbles uses Blockchain technology in a way that allows for super secure and accurate student information to be verified and transferred from one computer to another. For example, through ScribChain, a student can send their student transcripts to a school from their phone and the school can verify that the transcripts are authentic and have not been tampered with.

Sales Team

Sales employees are responsible for adding new clients to our company. They do this through sales calls, zoom demonstrations and on-site meetings with decision-makers (Pre-COVID). Sales members carefully nurture each sales process for a long period of time while the clients deliberate and make decisions about our solutions. Once the Sales Team has received a signed contract from the client, they are handed off to Client Success and Client Services to curate a solution that best fits the needs of that specific client.

Development Team

The Development team members are the engineers of our software. Developers are responsible for adding new features to our software, making updates to ensure our solutions run smoothly, designing our sites, etc. Basically, they solve any issues where the answer takes the form of our websites. 

Client Services Team

Client Services is comprised of both Project Managers and Support. The two positions work closely to ensure that all issues are resolved and all (as many as possible) specifications are fulfilled for each individual client. 

Client Success Team

Client Success works with Sales, Marketing, Client Services and Support to ensure that they are educating clients and ScribCoaches in the most effective way. Think of Client Success as teaching the district to swim instead of throwing them a life raft. The idea of Client Success is that we are being proactive in our education before support needs to fix any issues or clear up any misunderstandings. 

Support Team

Support works closely with our clients to make sure that any issues are resolved. Almost always do clients have questions after their software goes "live", so support is responsible for answering those questions. They also are responsible for relaying any aspects of our software that need to be updated or configured differently.

Marketing Team

The marketing department is responsible for finding new and creative ways to market our solutions to existing and prospective clients. Marketing mainly uses social media, email and Intercom to advertise events and software solutions to our various personas. Marketing works closely with Sales to ensure that we are capitalizing on the wants and needs of our current and prospective clients. 

Yes, we do! Not only do Scribbles employees join, but AIS and Pertmitium employees are present, as well. On the last Friday of every month, employees of ScribSoft Holdings gather on Zoom to go over company and department updates. Usually, each department shares the progress on their OKRs and company owners share the current state of each company. Updates and reminders are also given at this time. The meetings usually end with a fun game provided by the (self-proclaimed) Party Planning Committee (the Scribbles Marketing Team)! 

We also have an End-of-Quarter Company Meeting that takes place on the last Friday of the last month of the quarter. It is similar to regular End-of-Month meetings, but more is discussed and MVPs are chosen for each department (yes, there are prizes!!). 

Yes, you do!! It does not necessarily have to be a picture of yourself. Most of our employees have their profiles set as a character that represents them, and others use pictures of their pets or their kids. Whatever you choose, add the picture before Dax calls you out on the #general channel! 😜
